The system for reporting a poisoning appears to be different across the regions, so ask your local vet what the procedures are for your area. If your pet has been poisoned, get them to your vet immediately. They will pump their stomach. Should the animal die, they'll analyse the contents of the animal's stomach in order to give you details of the poison. In addition, they will file a formal report in order for the authorities to be alerted to the problem. Should your animal already be dead, then you must take the cadaver to your vet for in order for them to investigate the cause.
